Introduction
Gender equality and women's empowerment are fundamental to sustainable development, inclusive growth, and effective community programmes. Organisations that promote equal opportunities and remove barriers to participation create stronger institutions, improve social outcomes, and increase the impact of development initiatives.
This five-day course provides practical knowledge and tools for integrating gender equality into policies, programmes, and workplace practices. Participants will learn how to conduct gender analysis, identify inequalities, design inclusive interventions, and monitor progress towards gender-responsive outcomes through practical case studies and interactive workshops.
Objectives
2. Conduct basic gender analyses to identify barriers, inequalities, and opportunities for inclusive programme design.
3. Develop gender-responsive policies, projects, and activities that promote equal participation and access to opportunities.
4. Apply practical monitoring and evaluation methods to measure gender equality outcomes and programme impact.
5. Create an action plan to strengthen gender mainstreaming within organisational strategies, programmes, and daily operations.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
